Activities and Options for using PDFs:
Pre-work:
- Print Printer-friendly (~2 pages)
- Optional: Laminate it
Directions:
- Have students cut it out, sort, and glue story in the correct order.
- (If laminated - have students sort and put it in the correct order & have them show you before moving on).
2) Print PDF without illustrations:
Pre-work:
- Print full-size PDF, no illustrations
Directions:
- Have students draw an illustration that sums up their assigned decodable story
- Use their illustration to do a comprehension check about what the story is mostly about.
