Evidence basis & efficacy

LitLab.ai is grounded in the Science of Reading, and specifically designed to support decoding, fluency, and automaticity.

We’re advised by Dr. Young-Suk Kim from UC Irvine, a renowned reading researcher and the creator of the DIER Model for Reading.

LitLab has created a logic model, and will be ESSA Tier IV certified this summer.

Data from a design partner (Nashville Classical Charter School) gathered from nationally-normed tests (AIMSWeb) shows that classes that used LitLab’s student practice 3x a week for 15-min per session had higher growth than any other 1st/2nd grade class in the entire network. Their growth was in the top quartile nationally.
